Move

In order to decide who is starting the match, each player throws a single dice. If both players throw the same number, a further throw is necessary. Who obtains the higher number may move first. The player uses this throw for the first move. Further on, the players use two dices.
Assumed you threw a 3 and a 6: Now you can either move one checker 3 positions and another 6 positions, or you can move only one checker 9 positions. If you decide to move only one checker, it will "land" after 3 or 6 positions.

A position is occupied when 2 or more checkers of the opponent are already on this position. You can neither move onto nor land on an occupied position. If the opponent occupied all positions attainable with your throw, it is your opponent’s move. If it is possible, however, to move a checker you must do this, even if it is a bad move for you.
If you achieve the same eye numbers with throwing the dices, e.g. two 5, the diced eye numbers may be drawn twice; here thus 4 times 5 positions. With it, you can also move 2 checkers 5 positions and a third checker 10 positions.
